Book Review on Just For Tonight by Rilzy Adams

I love holiday reads because they're usually short and sweet. Just For Tonight by Rilzy Adams was no different. It's a cute New Year's Eve romance that takes place in Antigua, where Giselle, the main character, is vacationing to help her best friend Danie elope. Her attraction to the best man in the elopement, Roman, is through the roof and almost as loud as a New Year’s Eve firecracker. "She wanted to spend some more time in the presence of the first man to stir something... anything...within her for so long." Both being best friends with the marrying couple, they're a little leery of pursuing anything romantic. But their sexual desires for each other have overridden all things involving common sense.

This book is a novelette, which means it's really short. Almost as soon as it began, it was over. But even with the book being short, it gave what it was supposed to give. The characters were able to engage and build a connection. And then there was sex. Hot, nasty, toe-curling sex. If you're familiar with Rilzy Adams, you know how she's coming (pun intended). So, if you're looking to step outside of the box for your New Year's Eve read, I highly recommend you give this book a try.

This book is scheduled to be released 12/30/21.
